The top beauty expert …
Lesley Reynolds is not a woman who could be labelled boring. From her renowned skin clinic on London’s iconic Harley Street to her weekly anti-ageing columns, acclaimed beauty blog and love of all things glamorous, Lesley truly knows the importance of looking and feeling good.
A skincare and beauty expert who’s been working in the industry for over 20 years. Lesley first found her love of beauty from her mother, whom she would watch mixing lotions and potions in the kitchen. Helping to create some lovely, fragrant products - she enjoyed playing with the different ingredients to devise new creams and face masks. Lesley's experimentation with ingredients has continued throughout her life as she has delved further into the wonders behind beauty and skincare.
This fascination with beauty led to training in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Reiki and Indian Head Massage, opening a holistic clinic in Essex in the 1990’s, specialising in acne treatment and anti-ageing processes.
As a lover of advanced technology, Lesley has often trained and worked in the US, later becoming one of the first to introduce cosmeceutical products to the UK market. She became managing director for Jan Marini from 2001 and later was the distributor of dermatological brands DCL and DDF.
With all this experience behind her, Lesley opened at The Harley Street Skin Clinic with husband Dr Aamer Khan (MD) in 2004.
Lesley has written two best-selling books on anti-ageing including Look Younger For Longer and Easy Ways To Drop A Decade.
The inspiration for writing the books came from Lesley’s experience with various clients who all wanted to look as young as they felt.
Lesley put pen to paper and recorded her findings and thoughts to help women all over the world discover the secret to holding back the years.
When not consulting...
As well as being busy at the clinic, Lesley Reynolds finds time to reveal her beauty tips and advice to the public, through her weekly anti-ageing column with Best magazine and weekly feature in the Daily Express.
As a way of unwinding during gaps in her busy schedule, Lesley likes to update her personal blog What Lies Beneath which is full of beauty tips for both men and women - from skincare tips and ingredients to DIY fixes, Lesley enjoys sharing her ideas with readers. The feedback from blog readers is great, and the Ask Lesley section allows people to confide in Lesley and ask her about any skin troubles they are facing – so the beauty expert is always on hand and available to anyone who needs that extra little help.
Lesley’s TV appearances
Lesley regularly appears on TV shows, such as This Morning, The Alan Titchmarsh Show and Lorraine, where she gives guidance on skincare tips and offers her advice.
Her Clinic was the subject of a fly-on-the-wall documentary in 2013, called “Stitch Me, Lift Me, Tuck Me“ with series one aired on Sky Living. It looked into all the various elements of the Clinic from invasive to non-invasive treatments. Lesley found it a great experience and it was something that taught the public about what really happens behind the scenes. The programme was such a success that it was aired globally.
